Applications
Industrial Hot Air Blowers
In order to package consumer goods, cling films and packaging films made of polymers (for example PET, PE-HD and PE-LD) are frequently sealed with heat guns from Leister. Plastic containers are also formed and sealed with hot air. In the cosmetics industry, hot air is used for the production of tubes and composite cartons. In addition, goods and packaging can be dried with Leister hot air and plastic shrink tubes/sleeves, can be shrunk or shrunk on.

Hot air recycling saves energy and costs. Most important, it reduces your factory’s carbon footprint! Leister has customized solutions for combining air heaters and blowers which are suitable for recycling hot air thanks to a design made to withstand high-temperatures.
The hot air sealing unit for liquid packaging include two different units: The LE 5000 HT-U air heater has the hot air outlet on the upper side, while the LE 5000 HT-S blows the hot air downwards. The air outlet openings are designed precisely for welding the longitudinal seam in liquid packaging. Thanks to the great thermal insulation on the units, the maximum amount of energy is implemented in the weld seam.
The electric heater, LE 10000 DF-C is referred to as a “clean air heater” integrated in air system with strict cleanliness is required. For example, food and beverage manufacturers, as well as medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic or electronic products. The LE 10000 DF-C was developed on the basis of the latest standards for pure production, as they are from the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG). Particle emissions are also minimized by its design, which is made exclusively from non-toxic materials.
