Abu Dhabi Storm Water Manholes
A project that required a high level of professionalism and a sense for detailing.
Difficult working conditions and limited access in some confined areas, required
a good discipline and a willingness from our technical staff to manage and execute
this project. The CPL lined manhole can be welded on the internal HDPE lining of
the 2m diameter pipes creating a strong connection and minimizing the risk of leakages
at this usually weak point in any pipe to manhole connection.

Foundation Water Proofing
As a matter of fact, more than 60% of the buildings in Abu Dhabi city are facing
problems with underground water infiltration into their basements. This is due to
the usage of conventional waterproofing systems, not capable of withstanding the
high underground water pressure. This project was a challenge for us and our materials.
With a connection providing a pullout strength of over 41 tons per m², the CPL system
provides a strong mechanical bond between the concrete and the membrane, not allowing
any water to track between them.
